When wishing becomes reality, what then?
The ink on my degree has barely dried, and yet here I am, wriggling into this ill-fitting garment called independence. On one hand, I love it. On the other, I have never been more afraid. Suddenly I am defined by social standing, skill set, and professional prowess.
Except it’s more than that. This is my life. It’s my quest for purpose and meaning, the hope that carried me through college and the distractions of youth. Now, I work 24 hours a day. Why? Because I’m learning a living. Can you relate?
